Will it work on your computer?

some course screen shots

A typical desk PC today with a Mac OS 10, or Windows 98 / XP / Vista / Windows 7 will be able to access the course.

You use your favourite browser - perhaps Internet Explorer, Safari or Firefox. You don’t have to install any software. You log into the course using password access to a website. For part of the course you will be downloading exercises in Microsoft Word (.doc) format to edit. There are two reference files in Acrobat pdf format.

There should be no security issues whether you access from a company or home PC. But some highly secure Government departments may need to allow the video content to pass through their strict firewalls.

You will need Flash Player 7 (or higher) loaded, most people have this, but it can be downloaded for free. If you can view a YouTube video (youtube.com), the system should work for you. We would recommend Broadband connection, but access is possible with dial-up.

The video clips have an audio commentary so you may prefer to plug in a headset if you are in an office environment, so you don't disturb others.

reliable delivery servers

Our host’s delivery servers are very reliable and handle a large number of other elearning courses. The content is delivered from the Savvis Exodus Center in Los Angeles, one of the largest in the world.

If you were to suffer insurmountable technical problems we will refund your money (but we haven't encountered this problem yet). This is provided you have not exceeded one hour of using the course.
