Who it’s for
This course has been designed for anyone wanting to improve the standard of web writing on their websites or intranets. Just a basic ability in English writing and spelling is needed. No technical web knowledge is needed.
Professional communicators and experienced web staff will also benefit, as the training covers some new ground and very recent research.

The course is a very cost effective way to train staff to create more effective web content. It's also ideal for the home user or those who are unable to get to tutor-led training courses.
The course consists of 10 lessons. You do the training using your web browser (such as Internet Explorer) connected online to our elearning website. There is a comprehensive course manual you may like to download for future reference.
It's very easy to use and you can dive in and out of the course whenever you like. We keep track of where you are and record the scores you achieve on the quizzes.
The practicals are on interesting subjects. We provide expert model answers to give you further inspiration. The course screens include plenty of photographs, and there are video clips too - so the course never gets boring.
